Oh...almost forgot throwing! I don't know how well a bolted together hawk would stand up to a lot of throwing practice.

I fondled one - until I saw the price. You can buy a nice Plumb axe at Ace Hardware that will lay waste to any door, etc, you need entry through - and have enough moola left for a couple of nice BM's for the pocket - and a Happy Meal or two. I was shocked at the price. BM is making up for some serious misses with this product.

I think my yuppee dealer 'over the mountain' was sold out of them at my last visit. I think they are like the S&W .500ES 'Bear Defense Kit' of a few years back... there will be a bunch of them resting in closets or under beds... '... just in case!'.

Of course, I liked Studebakers - and Edsels...
