As I said, I've used stones since the beginning, but I recently ordered an Edge Pro Apex. I can see how much more perfect, however slightly, my edges will be. Can't wait!

Doctor, you'll have to let us know how the EdgePro works out for you. Personally, for a price as low as some regular Benchmades, the Apex is a bargain. It is a lifetime of unequaled sharpening for the price of a single knife. (maybe two)

Re: the EdgePro - If the tool is half as good as their communication, it'll be tip-top. I placed the order online Sunday and immediately received an e-mail. Today at 1:15 pm they sent the UPS Quantum View ship info with tracking number. At 1:16, They generated the e-mail invoice and, at 1:21, another e-mail advising me that their system recognizes the order as complete.

Nice for customers that they're working on Valentine's Day. Too bad UPS isn't.

Hey guys, thanks for all the replies--it's been fun reading.

Axis, I understand you're essentially talking about another crock stick. But what's your method? Do you just push the blade like you're slicing the bottom of the ring off? (If that makes any sense.)
