Pretty cool looking knife but I am not familiar with any such Benchmade model. Anybody have any information on it or is it a fake?

as fake as they come and beyond... not only the dared to to design a new Benchmade, but they didn't even look at any of the (pre)existing models to get a clue!

No Benchmade that...probably Chinese, looks like something the Pakastani's would produce also. Y'know 5 for a dollar or something. May be a brand new fake, but the black box sure is used huh?

I kind of like the design, might make an interesting Benchmade for the future.

First you gotta track down the "maker", but that could be easy... try and convince him to come to US, make him believe that he's coming here to sign up with BM, where everone's been overwhelmed by his ability to design Benchmade knives with that "out-of-the-box" thinking.
Sadly it's way out of the box, not Black box, not Blue box, not even Red box Frowner

the blade itself IF it were satin or stone washed, non-serrated AND with no false edge spine would be pretty nice.

the handle can go burn.
