Did I miss the release of this knife? Looks nice and is an affordable gold class. Not my thing but I am sure some will love it. At a Great Place for KNIVES.

I'm starting to get tired of CF, but it sure woke up that little knife. Big Grin

That was my thought too, either BM came into a pile of cheap CF or somebody on design team wasn't entirely truethful on the resume when applied for the job responsible for Gold Class development.
Why can't we see some true gold class in traditions of 706's and 46DM? There was real artist's touch in those models. Even the 635-81/82 had a certain sign of exclusivity. Now it's turning into replacing handle material for carbon fiber, grinding the blade from damascus (or just leaving it as is), and heat coloring the hardware. Bam! New Gold! It will sell regardless, right? Why even bother with creativity?
I'd rather see creative designs then "creative" marketing (which is not that creative either)

I agree,
it is a easy made Gold knife,
still it is a pretty knife!
I like the grind lines in the blade.

RX doesn't your complaint lose its impact when you post it right after you show us pictures of your new knife? Razzer

I'll repost my gold class formula from a month or so ago.

1. Randomly pick popular knife
2. Replace steel with Damascus
3. Gold plate screws
4. Switch handle material to CF
5. Charge $500-$600
6. ???
7. Profit

I guess they skipped #2 and #3 on this one, but that's why the price isn't as high either.
