Got my bones today, and the back spacer on mine are indeed G10. Mine are first production, so I don't know if that makes a difference. I would take pics, but I can't locate my camera...Great knives for the money!!

I looked again. It does not look like G10 to me, especially when compared to the 551-101, which is confirmed to be a G10 backspacer. The backspacer of the 15020 does have a rougher finish than other plastic spacers, like that of my 525(it was what I had to compare), but the layers aren't visible like that of the G10 in the Gold Class Griptilian.

There's no information on BM's website about the backspacer either.

So I'm not new here, just been a while, so I had to reactivate my membership. Anyhow. Just got my small bone folder in the mail this morning, & WOW. Very cool! What took Benchmade so long? Here are a couple crappy pix, but you get the jist. I'd say the back spacer is black G-10. Fit and finish is supurb! Bronze washers are a very smooth touch to an outstanding knife! Great job...

Looks great! Thanks for the pics. Can't wait to get mine. It'll be here tomorrow. Same one - the small green plain edge.
