I've been SOL getting my hands on a Plain edge 806-901 Frowner

I've been emailing Alicia @ BM, but she said she couldn't help, and I'd have to deal with my local Premium Dealer.

Unfortunately after placing multiple calls with them, it seems they are Neanderthals when it comes to ordering anything new.

If anyone has any secrets they'd like to share about acquiring one, I would really appreciate it.

I had this same issue on my first round of searching. The other kicker was my "local" dealers were a two hour drive or more away.

Now I've wiped off my bloody nose and am back in it to win it sts.

Keep the faith. Wink

So, I'm wondering if I do not grab a CE version of this knife (only one I can find) will i be sorry a few months down the road? I'm very happy with my 710-801 (it is a user), and am afraid if I do get one it'll be a safe queen. decisions decisions...

Would it be fair to say this is like a forum knife? It may not say so on the blade but sure seems to be.

I'm Glad Mark G. has seen his dream fulfilled, it has been fun to watch it all play out.

So BM told my dealer that all 500 knives are accounted for, and no more orders can be placed.

You'd think with 250 plain edges... it wouldn't be so hard to get 1....I guess all the hoarders keeping 4 or 5 of em in the safe are hurting others' chances Frowner

I haven't found any PE either. Found CE's though and at a price I was willing to pay so... Big Grin
