Trailboss, I've had some reservations in the past about the weight of the 14205....ever since I had mine. But, our tastes in knives are always evolving. That goes for me and everyone else on the forum...I'm sure. The 14205 is under 5 oz. (actually less than the 5 oz. 760) and I've now gotten to the point that even a 5.62 oz 520 doesn't bother me...so, the weight of the 14205 is now fine.

Today's EDC: 5.9 oz Mini-Rukus Smiler

Fj, I'm glad that you thought your 14205 was too heavy. Wink

Knife weight isn't as important to me as blade length. Millies, a 710 or an AFCK are all too much blade for my preferences. A 14205 or 615 is just about perfect for me. I like the 525 alot too 'cuz it's a little smaller.

Hmm...I have no trouble carrying my 14205. The knife has a beautiful balance and any extra weight is no biggie. Only comment: Sure BM could've drilled those 'lightening' holes in the liners, but since they didn't...it's all good!
