That thread on knife packing wives made me think of an article I read last week about toilet knives.

This security expert dude was recommending keeping a knife in the toilet tank in each bathroom of the house. It is mighty handy in the event of a home invasion where persons may be bound, beaten, etc. You ask to use the restroom, retrieve the knife while in there, cut yourself loose, and well, hopefully come out and proceed to kill the rotten SOBs that attacked you.

So...anybody got a toilet knife? Or in a more forum consistent way, what is your johnny on the spot edc?

And of course, what do you think about this whole matter in general?

I think that is a great idea!

I bet most of us on the forum have one beside us at night in/on the night stand, I know I do.
But having a less obvious secret stash is a great idea.
I'm gonna implement that.
I wonder what would be a good knife to keep in the toilet. What steel's are rust resistant?

It is a good idea. I think I'll stash mine up under the sink though. Smiler

I think I would use a small fixed blade for toilet duty. Maybe the aqua salt.

I actually think this is decent idea...doubt I will implement but its smart none the less.

I used to do that, but my Bathroom Monkey would inevitably find it and use it to aid in it's escape.

Wink

Seriously though, not a bad idea at all. You need a toilet knife, and a shower shotgun for the complete package though.

I prefer the bathroom AR-15...

But, hey, to each his own.

What about us southerner's that don't have toilets and thus no toilet tanks.

Maybe I can ducttape it on the outhouse door or something.

Owww and the pile on begins...

I like the idea of under the sink though.
That way you avoid any noise from the porcelain lid and the water concern.

LOL Bathroom Monkey, shower shotgun and bathroom AR-15!!
