Umm, I don't really know what you are referring to but I'll play along. Confused Hmm, the choil area is different. The one on top has a rounded like cutout and the one on the bottom is flat. It also looks like the grooves on the side of the handle cross the pivot screw on the top picture. My last guess is image quality? Wink

We need a 615 LE with carbon fiber scales.
Could we also get a 630 with an axis lock?

The top one is smaller, the bottom one is larger.

Seems like it's his signature.

The difference is that one of them (top) is full size and the other (bottom) is a mini.

Perhaps you should have actually asked that question.

What we have here is a misunderstanding. From your first post it was very difficult to tell what you were asking about. I have been on this forum for many years and realized that people tend to post some random, weird things. There have been posts of knives that have had the wrong maker on the blade, misspelling of the blade steel, the BM logo on the wrong side of the knife and posts from those who have spotted the smallest difference between the proto and production knives and would like to see if others are able to spot it. (The later turning into a kind of "game" that is sometimes played here.) In my defense if you thought it was a fake why not post a picture of your knife and just ask?

If it seemed like I was trying to make fun of you please understand that was not my intention. I was just trying to figure out what your question was. I have not stayed on this forum for years just to make fun of new members (I wouldn't have lasted this long if I did). Again it was not a shot at you or anything like that (this is why I had put those happy faces in).

It is hard to tell the tone of voice and facial expressions from reading words on a screen sometimes, you know?

To the original poster I dont think darrenmh was trying to be sarcastic at all, he was just trying to help you with your questions you had regarding the knife. Next time be more specific on what exactly you are wanting to know about the knife.. This is a great group of people here on these forums and if you hang around long enough you will realize that.. BTW welcome to the forums.

And to answer another question, that's not a fake. One thing I've noticed, the newer thumbstuds like these used on the 907 and 913 models pictured have not been copied (as yet.)

And yep welcome to the Forum.
