Bingo. see, all of YOU guys don't NEED knife stores. you sell YOURSELVES on new stuff.

but the connoisseurs alone aren't gonna keep the entire industry afloat. i'm in a mall. i generate NEW knife business. i EXPAND markets. and the MALL takes a % of my gross. which means anything i sell is AUTOMATICALLY at a discount, as far as my profits are concerned.

as i said, i buy alot of knives from all over. i found knives, got passionate about knives and learned about knives IN knife stores. mostly in one that's closed now.

ya'll might not care about the Mom & Pop brick & mortars. but when they're gone, you can damn sure believe you'll notice. cause the industry wont survive intact.

I think the point was made, all of the dealers we have been referring to/defending in this post are mom&pop B&M too, they just happen to extend their business on the internet.

Does anyone remember history anymore? I just can't believe the things people say anymore. Oh and thanks Max. Smiler

No, Socialism is about redistribution of wealth. If you have 10 knives you have to give half them up to others that doesn't have one. Smiler
Keeping your local economy alive is just self preservation and quality of life. My money will stay in Oregon when I can. I'm not sending it to VA, or CA. I need it in the local economy so it can come back to me Big Grin
