That'd be hard for most of us to live with. The only guy who could own a 9" Benchmade 710 is someone at least 90" tall or 7'-6". Smiler

Yah, I'm lousy with numbers FJ, but it was Murray Carter who said basically, many of us carry knives that are too large to handle, and prefers smaller ones for EDC. If I can find that quote I'll put it up.

If I wanted just one knife it would be a drop point, flat grind folder with a blade of 3 to 3.5".

Fox, what BM do you find yourself carrying the most when at work?

I like the 9500, 9130, and 9555 for Autos and 930 and 710 for axis lock folders. Here lately I have been carrying a BM made NRA Outdoors 12400. It is a nice little folder, I just wish it was a littler bigger. I picked up a mini-grip for my daughter and really like it. My next BM will be a Griptilian or a 940.

The one thing about all of these knives is they carry well in the pocket because they are not to big and bulky. They are all good, practical designs as well. Even the 710 carries well and it is a larger knife.
