Not sure I am willing to live in a box hut.
Or if lighting can strike twice.....
But would like to start the next "please make it" Thread for the above knife.
Not a gold class, just a mix of the 806-801 and 806-901.
(806BK-901/806-801 as this will be M4 and needs to be Black)
All I ask for is #4 P/E. Wink

Behold the LE "806BK-1001" non Gold class knife. Someone copy this in case it gets lost. Big Grin

I can see it now on the Blue box..
.. "MCM806BK-1001"

All in favor, post....... & keep posting.

Sounds like you might have missed the 806BK-901?
(and 806-701 & 806-801 like me)
If that's the case, with your new found wisdom you should be able to have as many as you can afford!

Nope, got PE #58 and CE #66 and I paid under MSRP. And, I still have my 806D2 EDC, and another NIB 806D2 as a spare.
I just couldn't stomach the prices on the 701 and 801 AFCK's, so I passed on those.

I would buy one... However I have had some PM's with folks and my idea is to let the concept rest for a time... Then see if Benchmade will make a run of plain jane 806's with S30V.

Actually, my dream is that Benchmade has seen the demand for this knife... And will rework the concept and put something pretty similar back into production.

My "gut" feeling is that Benchmade saw the 710 as the "iconic" Benchmade that should always be in the line up. I think the concept should be enlarged to include the 806 in that vein.

Agree, a $150.00 806-S30V production knife would be great, But still would like a small run of CF/M4 806's to be produced.
While ramping up for the production blade, I would think this one would be a slam dunk, home run, etc.

On that note, a FRN 806 of 440 would probably sell as well.....
Am just past that point.
Food for thought.....
