Hello All,

I usually don't like serrations, and I don't have many Serrated Knives but I get one 2550 PS, and I really like the knife...I think serrations are cool on this one.

I know many of you hate serrations because they are hard to sharpen.

I have a sharp maker but I have doubts how to resharpen serrations with it.

I'm also thinking to get one of this

how do you think will the best way to resharp or maintain serrations?

thanks.

Yes, that's what I use...a tapered diamond rod. I bought mine at Wally World for $8.

Smith pocket tool - tapered diamond rod, but the corner of the medium SharpMaker rod works pretty well too.

For the small ones, use the tip of the diamond rod.

You might end up sharpening your chainsaw blade with it.

+1

That's what I use to maintain my serrations. It might end up rounding them off slightly, but I really haven't noticed it. I'd rather have slightly rounded serrations that can cut than jagged serrations that don't.
