The problem is partially weak springs and maintenance, use thin oil sparingly, remove debris.

Thats what I use its good stuff, its obvious the guy either got a blade with a bad spring or he does not take very good care of his knives...

I've only had it a few weeks, but mine still works fine. He may have gotten one with a weak spring or it may simply have sat on the shelf for a while (unlikely, as they sell fast,) and needs lube. Who knows, he may have tried opening it into a piece of wood to test it, or something. If that's the case, I hope he takes better care of that Paul Reed Smith Custom 22 guitar hanging on the wall behind him...that's a pretty high-end instrument!

Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong here, but I think I remember reading somewhere that the current run of Infidels have somewhat stronger sears and springs than the original run had. The YouTube video here was posted last March, almost a year ago. Could that also account for it?
