I am planning on buying a Smith and Wesson Assisted out the front knife for Christmas. I would rather buy a Benchmade Assisted out the front but if one is not available then I will have to buy the S&W. Does anyone know if Benchmade is comming out with an assisted out the front knife? Thanks, Jarrod

I can't picture this system in my head. Is there like a thumb stud on the tip of the knife blade? That seems like it would get in the way of cutting.

assisted otf. There's the 3300 (Infidel) and the newer HK coming out soon. KnifeRights.org Charter Member #606 - How about you? Pardue Pimps® #722 Boomerangs 'n Butterflies: An Osborne Alliance | Member #722

A guy was selling them at a gun show. It was pretty cool. I can't explain it so here is a picture. Just push both "buttons" foreward(one is a safety) and the spring takes over assisting it out. Jarrod This message has been edited. Last edited by: Jarrod,

Just looked it up on the tube not to sure if its the same deal. Not an S&W model but by shrade. Interesting design but it looks kind of difficult to use. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...KsOU&feature=related first few seconds of the vid. Khang

Well it may not be as cool as an auto but at least it's legal. Jarrod
