I just got my f-i-l's beat up old Balisong auto back from BM, the blade mechanism that locked incompletely retracted having been fixed, when he sent me his old 3100 auto. It's missing the Torxx headed bolt that secures the pivot - and any washer, etc, that was under it.

Does anyone know what I'll need from BM to fix this, description-wise? Will they send me the parts? Thanks for any help/suggestions here.

If it were me I’d give BM a call and describe the condition of the knife and see what they want to do the repairs. Then find a local BM dealer that would agree to send the auto into BM and to then receive it after it’s repaired. BM will probably only want you to pay for the return shipping cost, but they can tell you when you talk to them.

I ordered the pivot screw from BM's 800# today. Cleaned crud and dried grease out by pump spray bottle WD40 - wiped clean with cotton swipes. Spritzed with RemOil aerosol cleaner/lube (with Teflon). Works far better - will degrease the pivot & screw - coat with blue Loctite - when the part arrives. Nifty little knife.
