i think i may have put a little too much blue lub on my infidel....now when i open it it isn't nearly as strong and sometimes comes off the track where i have to pull the blade all of the way out in order to fix it....can anything be done about this or did i break my knike?

i really didn't put all that much on it....a little where the sliding button is and a couple drops at the bottom cleaning port/hole

thanks

The type of oil is most important.

Go get some Rem-oil in a spray can and spray it through the hole for a few seconds, then let it drain upside down.

Should be good as new.

Some oil is thicker like Miltec-1 and blue lube and some oil is thinner like rem-oil. OTF autos have very tight tolerances so the thicker oils slow them down.

Rem-oil will also evaporate and leave a thin teflon coating. Its also what microtech uses/recomends for their knives.
