i have a MINI REF 2550, i'm right now thinking in getting a new button... I have to say i cannot send the knife to BM, last week the spring broke. in spring break.. :S and well I get a new one from knifekits.. and works well. Do es anyone knows where can i find a button?

Did you try that same place (knifekits)? They carry buttons as well.

well, I send an email to them asking if that one could fit the 2550... but they don't give a clear answer... maybe I could try just to get one and see if it fits..

the buttons are machined so the safety slides into them. id guess they are specific to BM and would have to get one from BM to replace it.
your local dealer will be able to send it back for you no questions asked from BM. just ask nicely and i dont see why they shouldnt help you out especially if youve purchased from them in the past.

Good point! I didn't even think of that since only BM autos I took apart for cleaning were old, "pre-safety" ones. I'm not even sure about what those new buttons look like... I'll check it out tonight Big Grin

well i have buyed all benchmades or on line retailers like KWorks or AKworks, But i'm going to try with some dealers over here...
