I don't have any either one, but my best friend has both an Infidel and a Microtech Ultratech. Now I LOVE Benchmade, but I have to admit I felt the Microtech had a much higher quality feel and appearance. I think a lot of it was subjective though, I just don't care for the bulky style of the Infidel, and their gold class Infidel is just pimptastically ugly. Now a nice Halo V? VERY nice. I also think the Infidel is grossly overpriced when you look at what Microtech offers for that kind of money. It's weird too because usually Microtech is the overpriced one.

I don't believe they were bought out by anybody. They just moved out of Florida to a bigger facility.

I thought they had already relocated quite a bit ago to North Carolina? Correct me if I am wrong but to my knowledge one of their main facilities is in Fletcher NC. Confused

Sure, Benchmade will fix my autos, but they won't give them back.

Well you cant own them in WA what do you want them to do?

You can drive down to Oregon City and drop off and pick up in person.

Really? I didn't realize I could drop it off and pick it back up, at least not without an OR ID. That's cool, I go to Portland every now and then anyway. Learn something every day, thanks! Big Grin

Of course, I've never had problems with any of my autos that I allegedly don't have. Wink
