Do you guys think an auto Stryker is more reliable than an infidel as far as spring not breaking or gumming up from the wrong kind or amount of lube?

I was thinking of getting an auto Stryker Smiler Black Class

far more relaible.

time and duty tested auto stryker won't let you down.

I am dubious of all OTF autos, even those built to Benchmade standards.

the auto stryker is a better all around knife at a lower cost to you.

the only thing an infidel would be better at is stabbing someone.

The most important thing to remember is the auto Stryker is far more practical. The infidel is a great conversation piece and it certainly has it's place in a collection but it's big, heavy and IMHO very limited for practical use..

Single action OTF's like microtech HALO's are very reliable. I have never had one of those misfire, but i agree the side openers are a better choice for hard use.

Side open all the way. Can't beat the Stryker. Use and abuse it and you can still sell it. Evertbody loves these knives. I'm leary of OTF. I can only imagine what the results would be if the thing accidentally opened in the pocket. Eeker

The double action OTF's have safety's so it wouldnt hurt you to bad. The blade comes off the track if it hits anything hard during deployment. The Single action OTF's dont have this feature.

Also the force to move the button on any double action OTF, except the BM infidel, is so much that an accidental firing is almost impossible.

Yeah. Just don't have one purposely or accidentally deploy into your hand, with or without gloves, especially 2 inches from the hand.

(NOT me, haha)
