If you are in the least unsure of the legality of buying or possessing an auto in your State or City I’d suggest you consult a local attorney. The negative consequences can be bad for your future.

On the other hand – BM autos are the best available Cool

I don't think my state has any laws against these type of auto's,but i see restricted sales to Law Enforcement,ER services, and military.I am a member of none of these. So that's been the problem on buying one,or am i missing something.?

step one, go to gun show, step two talk to MIL LEO and EMS, get them to buy for ya.

Might take some time, try networking as well, check out the other knife forums and see if you can find someone that will buy and/or ship to you.

just try not to break the law in the process Big Grin

It’s pretty sad as to how many candy a** politicians bought into the “West Side Story” mentality. As others have said in the past, there are folders and fixed edged knives that are as easy and some times quicker to deploy than autos.

But the politicians can go to bed at night knowing that they’ve made the streets safer for society Roll Eyes

Better than asking at gun shops or random LEO's, find the main gun forum for your state - particually the one on Concealed Carry. Those folks know the relevant section of your state's laws.

A few that I know:
http://www.missouricarry.com
http://www.ksccw.com
http://www.iowacarry.com
http://www.arizonacarry.com (I think)

Just search for " concealed carry" and you should find them.

Also check http://www.handgunlaw.us
They have the relevant sections of the state laws on their site.

Very Important Note:! It's very important to know what your laws actually say. It's also very important to know to not argue with a cop by the side of the road. You will lose. Doesn't mean you just roll over, does mean that you should politely explain "Sir, I believe you may have been misinformed. Our state statute xxx.x says..." Just make sure to get their name / badge number and be ready to go to court. Once again, politely let them know that you won't argue with them here and now but that you are willing to discuss it before a judge.

I know if the State of NC you can carry a Auto knife like the 9100 but if you start carrying blades like the BM infidel IE: one that ejects from the front of the handle is where you will really start treading on thin ice... Reason being is NC law considers the Infidel a type of blade that could be used as a "projectile" weapon which.. On the flip side most venders will only sale the models like the 9100 to active LEO and Military..
