Would anyone know the size of spring i should i get for the 2550..I think it would be easier,and quicker to order a few springs,and have some on hand,then send it in to BM..I just am a bit confused on how you are suppose to measure...Any help would be great..

I believe there is a video on the tube.....of a guy rebuilding a 2550 because of a failed spring he upgrades to a different spring but I think he mentions size. It's might be worth a shot?

It should be the 0.375" spring.

Oh crap..I took the spring from my 9530,and put it in the 2550,and about a few clicks later it broke also.I assume it was the incorrect size,but to me it looks like the same size?? I guess i will wait for the orders to come in..

I'd think it's more of a coincidence than anything. The spring was probably going to break soon in your 9530.

Benchmade uses the same spring size on their small folders (9530, 2550, 3550, etc.), so the springs should be interchangeable between similar sized knives.
