So!

It seems that there are already three kinds of Infidels out there! Wow!

Benchmade 3300:
"Grandfather of the Infidels": D/A OTF, double edge spear point / D2

Benchmade 3310:
D/A OTF, Utility Drop-point /S30V

Benchmade 3350 Mini-Infidel:
D/A OTF, double edge spear point / D2 / "mini version of the 3300"

Well, how about you? Which one do you prefer and why? Best EDC? Best combat knife? Best overall knife?! What do you think? Smiler

Input and information as well as feedback is greatly appreciated! Smiler

Regards,

Julian

I like the 3350,because it's smaller, with the 4inch handle, but it's not out on the market yet from what i know anyways.

I like the single edge blade. I have handled both and I went with a standard drop point full size.

I can't say I have had it long, only a week. It locks up tight and there is hardly any play. The spear points I have handled all had more play in the blade and I do not know why or if that is normal since I have only handled three spear points.

I carry it in my back pocket. It's very fast to deploy.

I like the single edge blade for fighting because I can push the back of the blade with my weak hand if I am in close. Always a thought.

Dagger blade for me. In the situation where I'm going to use an OTF, I want it to be as intimidating as possible. I want the bad guy to run so I don't have to use it on him, but if I have to use it I want the thing to penetrate as well as possible. I also want length to be able to hit vital organs, heaven forbid.

I really hate thinking about hurting someone like that, but if it's to protect my girlfriend or my family, there's no hesitation.

Good point! A slightly smaller Infidel would be a very handy one! I can't wait til I get one of those.

Interesting information (blade play on spear point vs. drop point) - never thought of that.

Absolutely right. Daggers would intimidate a bad guy much more than any other blade style, I guess.
