i just bought a new auto stryker 9100 and it is firing EXTREMELY SLOW....its literally brand new so is it a matter of breaking it in? i put some tuf glide on it which doesn't seem to help....

or should i send it back for a new one?

i've had strykers in the past that fire a lot faster than this one....thanks!

Better then what?
Does it open? Does it lock up? Is there any blade play?
If it's slow for you it doesn't mean that it will be slow for the next guy.

RX no i mean its slow compared to my other 9100's

my main question is will it loosen up if i keep firing it? if not it definitely needs BM to inspect it and give me what i paid for.....

but if its going to "break in" then i will keep firing it till it actually acts like an auto.....

Find a T10 torx bit (you should have one if you have the T8 for the 42) and loosen up the pivot screw a little. That should take care of the problem.
