question abought the mini infidel

i just got a mini infidel and my blade looks off center does the line in the blade go stright to the tip or is it off center a little bit here is a pic of mine

i called benchmade and they said the same thing its a bad grind line now i have to find a dealer that will send it in for me

I agree, QC should have pulled that.

You may not want to distant or anger some of your fellow workers by tagging a product, but you have a responsibility to your employer- BM.

I understand what you’re saying dj, but you can use that same reasoning with lots of lesser quality knife companies. I don’t spend my money on BM knives to get a so so product. Also, I don’t mind spending a premium price for BM knives, but for that I expect a premium product.

Let me refraise it then .......If it bothers you too much , send it back.
Theres always gonna be little flaws here an there in production knives.
The bigger a company gets .... the more flaws I THINK there will be. IMHO
I agree if you pay so much for a knife , you want it to be perfect. Some come out good but as the tooling wears , so does the quality.

I have had a few BMs that had very bad grind lines that should not have slipped thru qc. I have a 9050 that the top swedge grind is nearly a 1/8" lower than the tip on the backside.
