Just a small collection (so far),I am getting to prefer the auto's over anything else these days.If i was giving a choice between 2 models i would go with the auto.Anyone else feel that way? I have another 5500 LE coming in from 910stryker.Keep the auto's alive fellow BM collectors.

I agree unless u need a knife for self defense..... Last thing u need is a spring breaking on you when u need it most

Nice set Mike, the HK fourth down is the sleeper of the bunch, I like the understated design...you have some snappy stuff there.

i like autos too but really not for carry, i like my carry knives to be quick to open but quick to close as well and the auto really doesnt close fast enough for me. i cant carry them here in ca anyhow so they are reserved for gimmick/collectable for me.

I've owned a bunch of auto's over time, but living in Cali I'd rather use something than look at it - so sold them off to folks that would actually use them. Of all the ones I had the favorite was the 3550 hands down.

Very nice collection - are they all partially serrated, or are some of them PE?

Myself, I go for manual models out of necessity (CA - can't carry anywhere but at home), but if I were able, I'd own a good deal more autos. Not sure I'd always go for the auto version of a knife, as I like how fast and easy it is to close manual axis knives. But I sure do enjoy using the plunger-lock autos.

All are serrated,I could not get a PE in the knife i wanted..I will get around to buying an Infidel soon,I hope.I just bought a Strider CC,so i am broke for awhile it may have to wait for a bit. Thanks for the replies guys. For some reason i am just convinced they are gonna be banned someday soon.
