I got the 5000 I ordered today from PVK who is excellent (free pen and small auto knife). I am very impressed with the knife overall but do have 2 complaints. The action is kinda slow and the safety is rather hard to actuate. Overall I really like the knife and its becoming my edc.

I'm with dissipator, several of my 5000's and 5500's needed piviot adjustment. But coming from PVK it's a little bit of a surprize as Josh checks his knives before shipping.

5000,nice choice! what blade config did you get? I wouldn't loosen the pivot before you had a chance to play with it a bit.

I bet it is coated too?

If so, a little 1000 grit sand paper to shine up the coating really gets them moving. FWIW, I polish the bronze washers as well and use a high quality oil. I can get most BM auto's to practically pop out of my hand they fire so hard.

Keep playing with it... I mean, thats why we all get autos right Wink
