I would like to send my AutoStryker to Benchmade for a spring replacement and lifesharp warranty. How do you guys do this? Will they return back to your home? I'm a LEO and don't want it sent to my department, because things always get "lost". Sending a copy of my credentials is not an option and I live 60 miles from an authorized dealer. Any experiences?

You'll need to drive the sixty miles and send it back through your BM dealer.

1. Mail it to the dealer, they send it in and they return it to you.
2. Mail it to BM yourself with copy of your Leo credentials and they return it to you. No reason to have it mailed to your department.

Yea a photo copy of your LEO ID is enough to have it mailed directly back to you.

Yes, the spring is weak and it needs some good ole factory sharpening. In this day and age, I don't wish to have a copy of my FED creds floating around. Besides, I can face possible disciplinary actions if I did this. I'm going to call them. Maybe my @dhs.gov email address will be enough proof.
