Sharpening an Infidel

New to this site. I've had an Infidel for about three years and was wondering if there is a good way to sharpen it without sending it into Benchmade. Thanks for any advice.

I think that with a Spyderco Sharpmaker you can fix the job very good. |

Infidel has a D2 blade. If you let it get dull sharpening on a SharpMaker can/will become a chore. Most likely the one you have is chisel ground. Best way to sharpen those is sharpen the bevel side until there's a burr and then strop the hell out of it on the back of the legal pad.

Thanks guys. I'll try sharpening the bevel and then strop. I may just strop it first and see what develops. I was just wondering if there was a different approach to use because of the chisel grind.
