I've found that on BMs liner locks, if the Pivot Pin/Screw isn't completely tightened. The strength of the Liner lock is strong enough to push the blade off center.

Remove the pivot pin screw and use a small pipe cleaner or cotton swab with some rubbing alcohol on it to see if there are any metal shaving in the pivot pin. These shavings can prevent the screw from tightening down all of the way.

If that doesn't work.. DollarB53 might have a good idea with bending the blade in a benchvise Eeker

thanks for all the replies. I'll try loosening and re-tightening everything. I know it's not the pivot, it's as tight as it can get without impeding the knife's function.

sent this one in to my BM dealer. I'd rather not void my warranty if I don't have to. No doubt they have much more experience with these things than I.

I just sent my week old mini-Barrage to get the blade centered. Cost me $8 and change to send it insured, but I'll be happier (I hope) when it comes back. The hell with fooling with it myself.

I just had my 913D2 returned. I had smaller thumb studs installed (they would not send me a smaller pair). I centered the blade myself a few weeks ago. While doing it I stripped a screw on one of the scales. I asked them to replace that screw while it was in their shop. It came back razor sharp, new thumb studs and they forgot to dig the stripped screw out. That was a suprise because of the positive feedback they receive.

Turn around was about 2 weeks.

The knife functions well as is so I’ll live with it.
