Well Trevor, How soon we forget what happened with Katrina, the peoples legal firearms being taken away by a Mayor that had no right to do so. The film of an OLD Women being wrestled to the ground on camera when she showed the police that she had food, water and a pistol to protect herself and didn't want to leave her home... The very fits thing that went though my mind when I saw that was "I hope those policemen parents are not alive to see what they have done and the shame it's bringing to there families". I had to give my guns up once in Australia with a "Mandatory Buy Back" and all I can say is, that I won't do it again..!!!!This message has been edited. Last edited by: AussieBlade,

Well this has been an interesting moral questions, taken seriously by wise and scoffed at by foolish. I guess my final answer is that perhaps it's not worth it in the end, for a moral issue is usually decided by an immoral Government leaving the ability of people not to decide for themselves. So I have sold my Automatic Knife locally and complied with Government Regulations, the funny part of all this is that there is no real answer and I guess we all just comply so how free do you really feel today..??

A bit late to the dance, but... Unless the economy heads deeper south, I have no plans to sell my few auto knives. They are legal here - to own - even to carry in non school/courthouse zones. Mine are 'lookers' anyway - but do represent barter material for dire times. I know folks with firearms for barter material - no way for me - that just seems like an invitation to disaster. I have protection - and ammo. I have a couple of months of food - but two weeks of TP - and, horrors, maybe two weeks of cat litter - and six inside cats. I need to rethink this 'survival'... I'll probably have to defend the cats in an apocalyptic event - several range-mates have said they will 'harvest' them should we be inundated with bird flu. I do have a good recipe for 'kung pao meow', just in case... 171, 201, 275BK, 420, 425, 426, 480-1, 520, 525, 551, 581, 610, 615, 630 x 2, 635BK, 670, 672, 710, 720, 755, 755BK, 760BK, 790, 805, 950, 3150, 5000, 6150, 9555BK, 15005-2, 15020-1, 15030-2, 15050-2

Your NOT too late to the dance, as the band plays on with this one.. Yep I am a Cat lover myself, when we lost old Poo and he was put down at the vets I was actually in tears on and off for days. But we have supplies also put away for all our animals, you know the old saying "prepare for the worst and hope for the best"...

Stainz, the TP is something a lot of folks forget about. Should the economy begin to resemble the Weimar days, it'll be worth more than paper money...and MUCH more comfortable to use. --------------------------Do Not Write Below This Line-------------------------- Read The Patriot It's Right -- It's Free http://PatriotPost.US/subscribe/ Allen Elishewitz Preservation Society Associate Member Support the creation of a Mini-AFCK Axis lock!
