I have an older Pardue auto (can't recall model at the moment) that no longer functions. I'm not LE so I can't sent to BM for repair, correct? Is there anywhere else I can send it?

Thanks.

What is exactly wrong with it as to why it won't work?

If it try's to function, but is just slow you can clean it,use some good oil, and loosen the pivot screw.

If you have a local dealer, see if the dealer will send it in for you if that is what needs to be done.

First you need to find out what's wrong with it. If it's a broken spring (and most likely it is) you can buy another one from knifekits.com and replace it yourself. It's not hard at all.

Rx--does nothing when I push the button. Broken spring I assume? I'll check out knifekits.

Thanks.

Take it apart to see what the problem is, only few screws hold it together. You'll need to do it anyway to measure the size of the spring.

It's a broken spring... I'm thinking it's a 3550 if its an old Pardue design.

Ohiojerry, I'll recommend getting one of each size spring sent to you and getting a few extra springs in the right size, shipping is pretty high, better off getting several sent at once for the same shipping costs.

+1 on shipping costs.
If not 3550 you may have 3000 or 3200. Both are also Pardue designs.
