Been giving her a nice breaking in,and it's coming around very well..I must have fired it over 30 times with out a mis-fire..It probably would have gone more, but i just quit..It's a bit of a pain sharping the D-2..I am loving the knife.

I love Nutnfancy, however I take most of what he says about knives with a grain of salt. He will be the first to say he is not the biggest of knife geeks. He is an outdoor and gun guy. Love the guy, watch his videos, and agree with a lot of what he says. However I disagree with him some with his knife reviews.

Case in point a Benchmade Infidel will cost you as much as a Glock 17? PLEASE tell me where I can get get Glocks for $350!?!? I want one.

The Infidel is what it is. OTF's are expensive, but the point is, Benchmade made one of the best for hundreds less than what other companies were charging.

I have "over paid" on lots of knives, because I am a knife geek. Is a Audi a better car than a Toyota Corrolla?

OTF's are not daily utility knives for a lot of reasons. And yes if that is what you are looking for, you might want to look someplace else.

However I don't want people to get the idea they have bought junk. That would be the wrong impression. I have two Infidels and I am not selling either anytime soon. Smiler

I agree with Jedi, the new AFO II is worth you time also.

DJ recommends the thickest lube such as benchmade's blue lube. The thicker the lube the higher the quality and therefore better for OTFs

Ah yes, especially in the snow. Took my s-line over Wolfs Creek pass in Colorado with almost bald tires 5 minutes before they closed the road to chains only.

OTFs aren't for everyone though. I'm planning on an infidel to add to my Microtechs
