If you wind up with a Benchmade auto exhibiting blade play, the pivot screw has backed out too much. It's a balance between the blade being loose and the the handles being squeezed so tightly together that it restricts the action of the knife. I haven't found one yet without a sweet spot, but you may have to blue loc-tite it in place to keep it there. Just my personal experience after owning a 2550, 9100, 9500, 3550, 9052 and 6150. -----=====-----=====-----=====----- KnifeRights Member | |||

No blade play when they are new. Maybe as you use them, you can get a little blade play. but that's easy to fix with a 10 torx. ......................................... 710BKD2, 551, 710-801, 2550S, 2550, 2550, 2550BK, 585. | |||
