I got a new 9101 auto stryker today. I like it but other than the larger push button I dont see any real improvements over the older models I have. It does have the larger hex shape blade stop like the afo 2 has. The lock up on mine is no tighter than my old ones though. I wish they could have extended the open back spacer further up the back. And as far as it having a stronger spring, I cant tell it. So what do you guys that have them think about them?

I’m still waiting on mine. I ordered the plain edge satin blade. I’ll post some comparison pictures of the 9100 and the 9101 when mine arrives.

Anyone have any new thoughts on this, I think I'm going to order one soon.

I've got one of the Prototypes. I like it, not a huge step up from the 9100 but if you don't have a 9100 the 9101 is a sure buy.

As auto's go, it's a instant classic. The finish isn't super durable but the actual construction is. I like the open channel for cleaning but the surprise best feature is the new button. You can hit it almost going sideways and it'll deploy. I'd imagine it's maybe a half second faster to get into action because you dont have to struggle to get at the button, and that half second may make all the difference.

The blade stock also seems a little beefier, but that may just be me. If it is it's only like another thousandth, not much but it seems to be built like a tank.
