Plus one on this recommendation. Hot soapy water works better'n about anything. Afterward, I'd flush it out good with WD-40, then let it dry, then lube.

| My buddy and I bought the 9100 at the same time. His did the same thing. I took his knife in the mens room and ran the water as hot as I could get it. I ran it under the water for a few minutes. Then I took hand soup and cleaned it. Ran it under hot water again. Dried it and used a teflon based lubricant. His 9100 was firing like new. The pocket lint and other junk in his pocket gummed up the mechanism. If your not a fan of pocket clips, doing this once a month is the cure. |
