Sounds more like wishful thinking from the Troglodytes dreaming of the return of the 4X series. I've been waiting for variations on the 51 platform, e.g. various blade shapes, the use of carbon fibre scales, differing blade materials. | |||

I have not heard that one yet...if anything ,cancel the 53....I firmly believe the 51 is one of the best.... | |||

The 53 is a decent user knife, very much of a "SodBuster" design; though I wish the latch was a springer. | |||

Did you try Loctite 248 - the paste version of 243? I've come to really like the Loctite 248 for most uses as it fills in the thread gaps and doesn't run. | |||

I've had the same problem. I tried locktite and it helped. The real issue is the latch... I can't do T latches... I took a factory tour today, and I saw fresh, unground 51 blades in a bin. I chatted with a couple of guys about the weight of the knife and what they might be able to do about making it slightly heavier for flipping....
