Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. The size of your hands, the length of your fingers in relation to the hand, finger strength and facility, your sense of timing and rhythm - all of these and more contribute to whether or not you'll even LIKE flipping, as well as the size, shape and weight of the knife that will feel good in your hands. Ferrarri or Corvette...your choice, but you gotta drive them both to really KNOW! ************************************************************************ Charter Member #9 and Skullmaster °„° Lum Lunatics Brotherhood of the 420 Boomerangs 'n Butterflies: An Osborne Alliance | General, and Member #950 Pardue Pimps® #3 Jack of all Trades, and Good Enough to get Paid for All of Them. ************************************************************************ "No time for the old 'in-out,' luv - I've just come to read the meter!" -Alexander DeLarge (Prisoner Number Six Double Five Three Two One)

My first Bali as a teen was a brass Balisong from Japan. Very heavy. I did buy another one for sentimental reasons. I also got a 32 and 42 together. The 32 was short and too light. The 42 was perfect. Then I got the 51. It was too light back then. I must have bought/sold/trade 8 of them. I have two left, a beater knife and a pristine one. The beater knife is my trainer so I throw it, do aerials and things over whatever surface. The other, I only flip over a soft surface. I used to hate the t-latch but now it doesn't bother me, and I prefer those to a spring latch. They feel thinner to me. I grabbed a 42 t-latch just to abuse. They have gone up in price when I started buying in Aug 2010.

So was my first - the Manila Folder. Made for Frost Cutlery in Japan. I still have it. Makes a great door stop, lol.

Nice video, but I couldn't help but laugh at your dog walking off in the background just after you started. He's quite the little critic, lol.

He's smart. He knows when I flip knives I drop it often. He stays the F$$$ away. He's never been close to getting hit but it makes quite a noise when a Kimura or 42 hit ceramic tile.
