Please be patient with me....I know nothing So I have a benchmade balisong and I am clueless at what I have or its approximate value. The knife appears to be stainless steel with skeletonized handles (large round holes and small round holes) a simple T-latch and the blade measures about "3.5 inch's. With overall open length at a little over 7.5 inches. It has the benchmade butterfly on one side of the blade and "benchmade USA" on the other side. The blade has a pretty standard shape..."drop point" I think? and has a very light "2nd" mark which looks like someone tried to polish out. Can anyone tell me what I have from this info..and its approximate value?

Also I really like balisongs but this one seems a bit small; my understanding is that the M42 has a 4" blade, does this make it easier to manipulate the knife? Thanks in advance!!

Well the holes are not recessed, and there are five large holes per handle side and five sets (x2) of small holes per handle side if that helps. I will try and get a picture up...I really appreciate the help!

Google immages shows a model 30 that is the spit immage of my knife. Looks like mine is marked "2nd" though, any idea what its approximate value would be? Its in pretty great shape with some handling marks..no scratches

Thanks P, Yeah I do like it...just wish it was a bit larger. I guess I will save up for a M42 at some point. Maybe when I have the money I will be able to find one! LOL
