Dingo: your funniest post ever. I use a fine machine oil with my balis. As for adjusting them, you need to flip and adjust until you reach the point where it feels right to you. You'll know when the handles are too tight. When you get there, loctite the screws, or you'll be repeating the adjustment process often.
