Makes sense there would be one coming - they're doing one 'classic' in Gold each month for this year's Anniversary.

The 42 is definitely a Classic so you know it's on the list.

Due to popular demand, and to use up some excess parts inventory, an additional production run was done for the model 42. Check with your favorite Benchmade dealer to see if they have any in stock or ask them to contact their Benchmade rep. The model is still discontinued. The model 32 and 51 are currently available, and the new model 53 from Charles Marlowe will be shipping in the coming weeks.
