My personal history started in around 87 when I got a custom Bali from a gun shop owner who cut his finger dropped it on a concrete floor and broke the tip off and cracked the ivory inlay on the brass handle. He had paid $225 in the early 80s and he was so pissed when he cut himself that he was going to trash it but he let my Dad buy it for $20.
