I started with one o them heavy silver ones with the black plastic dots in the handles. Box said Ninja on top! $35 at the local sporting goods store. Saved for 2 months to get that thing in hand. Lost control of it in the lunch line at school and it stuck briefly into Jimmy Judds leg--fell out when he ran off screaming. Had to drop through the ceiling and "recover" it from the principal's desk 3 weeks later. Got caught with it at the family reunion about 2 months later and my dad snapped the blade off between 2 2x4s by the cabin door. He said we weren't gonna have no 'Mexican knives' around the house. I wanted to say we weren't actually at the house, and that technically it was more Japanese than Mexican, but I like my front teeth so I just stood there greiving over the loss of a perfectly good bali. Shoulda just said it, cause dang teeth got knocked out playing flag football later on anyway. I'm gonna buy a dozen of them (or at least the whole PCC set) with my inheritance when dad jumps the great boa some day.

My son found one on the road while running and gave it to me. The blade is a tanto style with the butterfly logo and Bali-song on it. Its kinda rough looking. Says "Made in the USA". What angle should the edge be sharpened?
