Well here ya go......
While I was suppose to be working today, I found on the "bay" a BM42 first production run 450/500. Knowing good and well they would shortly pull it for being a "BAD kind of knife" I shot the guy an email about a "buy it now" he declined wanting to let the auction run. So I saved him as a favorite seller and actually did some work. I checked back about an hour later and sure enough it was gone....
I asked him again on one of his other listings if he wanted to sell it outright via Paypal and he replied that he was open to offers. $200.00 shipped via UPS is what it cost me.
How did I do???
I did want to add, I was offered my money back if I was not happy with the knife. That made me feel pretty good about the purchase.

You did phenomally well if it isn't a counterfeit. I haven't heard of any fakes being marked first pro, so that could be a good sign. Post pics immediately after you get it!

I sincerely hope it's an authentic knife and, as the Pastafarian said, I've never heard of a 1st prod counterfeit either.

But.

I will be totally gobsmacked if you truly bought an authentic 1st Prod 42 for that price. In fact, any real 42 at that price is well done.

Holy crap! It's real! I must admit I was really afraid for you there. I'll give you $250 for it haha. Great job.
