are any of you planning on buying up some 42's before benchmade discontinues them? i wish i would have done that with the 43!

i spoke with them last week and they wernt sure they would even be filling anymore orders from dealers. its possible the ones already out there will be the end.

Does anyone know if the 42 is being replaced or outright dropped?

Techie Benchmade has lost their minds, business sense and maybe some loyal customers but yes I called and they plan to drop the 42...

i don't know about business sense...the 42 seems like the AFCK when it was in production, only a select number of people really like it. most people stick with folders. and a lot of states don't even allot balisongs. i'm sure it will come out in LE runs like the AFCK.

jonle....get a clue...they're are more people who love that knife than u think....like the 43.....

I bet it could be more of an "Image" thing with the way everything is going in our society. I am sure most people look at it as a dangerous weapon,and should not be made anymore..I love balisongs myself,and i hope the continue making them. JMO guys.

i think they'll make some kind of balisong (they even told me that) probably a larger morpho....
