There is a new 42 for sale locally for $140. Is that a good price? The original MSRP was $280, so I think that is a pretty good price. What do you all think?

If you don't buy it tell me where I can Big Grin
They already (on some occasions) sell at MSRP, not even half a year out of production... I don't know how long this trend will last, but at any rate $140 is a steal.

So I guess the knife has been used to open some letters, is dull, but has never been sharpened. He says it is in excellent condition and I am going to see it tomorrow. Thank you for your advice and help!

No, tell ME where it is. Those two other schlubs already have a bajillion of them!!

Yeas, $140 is a good price. Nobody ever paid $280 for one, though, unless they just had no clue. Today, a NIB in mint condition can still be had for as little as $200 - on some occasions even less. But $140 is a very good deal right now.

HA! Guess again! A couple of 'em sold on bladeforums for $300 each within last few weeks... I don't think this madness will last long, but prices are up!

Wow, really? I guess I should never be amazed by what I see on the Internet anymore. I bet Jedi wishes he hadn't sold me those last two, heheheh...

Excuse me, I have work to do in my next post here...

I would be interested in trading for a 710BK-801 or 806BK-901. I like folder more than bali-songs.
