i just feel that the materials used are not as high quality as the 42... how will they ever beat solid titanium handles..... don't get me wrong i'll be clipping a 51 on my jeans for thanksgiving but i just think its worth no more than a LITTLE over $100 just my opinion "I see you have constructed a new lightsaber." | |||

I think you're neglecting manufacturing costs. Materials usually make up but a small percentage of the cost of a product. I suspect that the 51 and 42 cost about the same to make, with a higher probability the 51 costs more. | |||

solid titanium handles? just wonder if you ever tried 42ss ---------------------------------------------------- 42, 42SS, 42-400, 43, 43MC, 46MC, Balibalistic TAC-U, DR Venturi V82 Tanto I have two pets: a large main cat, and a small emergency backup one. | |||
