Not the best choice. Bears are hit and miss, from what I hear. I hope you won't be disappointed. There are better balis out there for the money...

Better for $25???
If I like it I'll buy a Benchmade.

For that price I'm expecting a $25 Bali.
Made in USA, that's cool. With the money I save I can buy a good first aid kit.

Yup, not US made, but those who have 'em say they they are better. I'm talking about M-Tech Twists. Darren Ralph design and they flip pretty good (from what I hear)

The twists arent all they are cracked up to be, the hardware on those knives is utter garbage. I got about 2 hours of flipping out of one, and the screws just sheared off when I tried to tighen it up.

The best bet while you are learning is a Bear or a Jaguar, but for the price of 2, you can get a Knife Kits Typhoon, which should stand up to serious use....

Just thought that I would warn you that heavier balis bite harder. However if you manage to get good with it flipping a ti 42 will be so easy.

Electrical tape is your friend but when it doesn't work superglue and band aid are always there to help. PS wear shoes and practice far away from pets and anything valuable. Big Grin

We need a 615 LE with carbon fiber scales.
Could we also get a 630 with an axis lock?

Guy at a local flea market here used to sell those Bears, 2 for $40. They aren't bad for the price at all. Way back when I was learning to use a Bali, I'd get 2 of these, keep one live and grind the edge off the other to make a trainer.
