How many of you use or carry your 42 knowing that now if you mess it up you can't buy a new one?

Is the 42 now just a safe queen?

I now have two . Titanium with spring latch. Folsom gave a great deal on his. I also just picked up a used 42 at the traffic circle flea market for 26.00. its not NIB like the pne folsom sold me,but its a good carry. I still LOVE the BM 51 just as much.

Not at all. I have a 42 that I flip but also have a 42MC, 42 double edge.

As long as you don't drop it onto it's point and crack it off, you're good to go.

It's not rare enough to be a safe queen.

I also have a 32, 51, 30, 43, 46, 48S, 35.

My favorite flipper? Cold Steel Arc Angel, the 46 and a Roton.

Never it will last longer than most of us.

I have couple so I have one I carry daily in a G2 sheath. Gary makes great sheaths by the way. Highly recommended.

If I only had one I might be more hesitant to EDC it, but as it stands I'm comfortable with giving it some usage (both flipping and tasking).

I believe even if you snap the point of you can ge a new blade for like 25$ for none BK and 35$ for BK blades all on the other knives. No reason to think you could not have a replacement blade put on a 42 or similar model for the same money.



I know I have seen guys post vidoe from Youtube straight to thier page so it plays from here..just cant seem to figure it out. anyone have any ideas...

I had only had the 42 for about a month.
looking at it now...it seems like I am up and down the screen a bit much.
Not to mention I did not realize the camera had to be horizontal to record.
And I didn't drop it in that one..so I was like this is as good as it gets today.

I have since put a few more moves together added an Opening ariel and two closing arials.
now I feel like I am gonna have to put a slightly longer vid together...great
