IMHO, clip/pocket wearing improves balisong image closer to 'regular/pocket knife' while sheath add an element of hostility.
Wearing a knife in sheath makes it 'special/dangerous' in people's eyes.
There are no questions when people notice a knife on clip in my back pocket whenever I am. And of course sheath would attract unnecessary attention.

Well, 42-101 is rather collectible item than EDC, but I would prefer to have the possibility to wear it on me without stressing people around me.

never thought about it that way... I personally don't like sheaths just because they are cumbersome and do not wear a belt most of the time. I really like clips also, basically, no clip-no carry. one more reason to love the morpho series!

I have mulled the idea around in my mind a few times...
For stealth carry I wanted to have an extra pocket sewn into the inside of the pocket already on the pants.

as most of the knives I carry when clipped to the pocket normaly have an extra couple of inches until the bottom of the pocket. I was thinking on the back side of the pocket material, an inner pocket could be sewn just a little lower than the top of the main pocket.
So a knife clipped would still be out of site.
or a 42's handles would be just down in the pocket. with about 1 inch of handle exposed in the inner pocket for ease of deployment.

There are companys that offer that. I had a pair of SwissGear kahkis that had a pocket in a pocket up front and 5.11 may have an offering.
